Check if the content of the pages is as required now. Some stuff may be broken since I had to remove all use of Panelizer in individual nodes. General note: @Nadia and @Noemi , the "Panelizer" tab in nodes is a taboo please, it's very bad software … the only acceptable way to change layouts is via "Structure → Pages → Node template → [select or create a variant] → Content".

The two group nodes in this menu do not have the usual elements to add content to the group (was the easiest to also make them show the group menu). Hope that is ok …

Thank you

The only thing I can see missing/broken is the bottom half of the /openvillage-coordination group. You can no longer see the posts/ wikis etc. Nor create new ones...

Ok staying away from panelizer for ever :)

Register page

Noemi's picture

There is a problem with the Register event page: depending on where you access it from you get a different menu. Have a look:

1) From Op3nCare: https://edgeryders.eu/en/op3ncare/home

2) From OpenVillage you dont see it at all : https://edgeryders.eu/openvillage

3) From What's New page again you dont see it: https://edgeryders.eu/en/whats-new

There's something about the group menus to which it is assigned. I tried to make it show up consistently but I can't! :(

Also, the title on that page is important, needs to be visible..

Done!!!

OK, an hour + of messing around and I realised what happens with the groups to which content is assigned: if you're not a member of that group, even if you're site admin!, easy re-assigning to groups to make sure the node shows in group menus is not possible!

Great

Hmm, congratulations :) I did not really understand the problem, but glad you solved it already. Sorry for the time lost for bug hunting (it's a bug for sure).

Again Register page goes missing :-(

Noemi's picture

If you go to http://edgeryders.eu/openvillage and then navigate the menu, the Register menu button won't show up on all pages.

Click on Join the Team and see what happens..  (The Program page sometimes shows it, sometimes it doesnt, depending on where you access it from). SciFi...  Help? @Matthias I think it has to do with the fact that all Menu pages belong to a weird combination of groups - and some render them well, some not. I spent hours looking and testing but nothing, it makes one climb through the roof. If you dont find a straightforward solution, just leave it. We'll live.

Fixed the "Register" menu item problem.

@Noemi Found it and fixed it.

Indeed this happened because pages unfortunately belonged to two different groups, which means the menu is technically actually two menus that have to contain identical menu items. One to show on pages belonging to the OpenVillage group, one to show on pages belonging to  the OpenVillage Coordination group. (You can see them both in this big list.) Now the problem was that the "Register" menu item was missing in one of these. Not sure who forgot this, could've been me :( If you ever need to add one more menu item, now you know …
