Tell us a story about yourself. It can be the story of your life’s journey, or the story of a day when you discovered something important about yourself or the world. It can be about achieving something or about coming up against an obstacle that prevented you from achieving it.

Good for you

Sharing your story increases the likelihood that you will meet other Edgeryders who might be interested in what you do, have helpful advice or even want to collaborate with you on your projects. You can write in any language you like, others can google translate it- see the flags in the top corner? that’s what they’re for :)

Good for everyone

The purpose of this mission is to enable Edgeryders to learn from each other’s strategies, successes and mistakes. By sharing yours, you are making everyone a little wiser.

Count me in! How do I participate?

It’s easy! Just submit your contribution as post below. A few suggestions

  • tell us the facts (what you are doing, what you did) as well as the opinions (why you think it is important to do it)
  • a mission report can be as long as you want.
  • If you need to take inspiration you can do so from Edgeryders who have already written theirs below, like JayOdeDorinGinevraOla,  Jonathan and many more (see below)

I believe we will all win

I am an independent filmmaker. I worked on films in production for the past eight years, gradually mastering a job and then learning the next one up until I was producing. But the reason I pursued film was because I love storytelling. So I finally got the courage and the resources to write and direct a short film. A few months after submitting my film to various different film festivals, I noticed what a strong reaction I had when I got a rejection letter. And likewise, what a great feeling of exultation when I received a letter of acceptance.

"social farm"

"For me and my brother was tough-but for us," mountain men "the ALP is a desire. A job so it's hard to leave him, is a very hard life, full of disclaimers, adapting to the mountain and to its laws, sometimes less, but more lenient is a life that gets inside you, bones, physically, and that is passed down through the generations who believe in nature and in his truth, like us.

I organized "To Oslo, With Love"

The terrorist attacks in Norway on July 22, 2011 shocked me at the core. I was not directly affected, nor were any friends or dear ones, but all the same it felt so personal. The attacks were aimed at the democratic institutions and principles and they took the lives of innocent people, many of them young people who had dedicated their time, energy and passion to creating a better society through their political involvement.

Release the Wolves!!! Some themes to consider...

This summer I will be co-ordinating a project with young people in the South London area of Elephant and Castle that involves the installation of a temporary go-kart track and a series of workshops to build soapbox style go-karts for the above mentioned track.

There is more information on the project at www.releasethewolves.org

Its time to Imagine your City

Imagine the City is a non-profit initiative developing campaigns and projects which aim at the aesthetic upgrade of urban environments, in Greece. We are inspired by Plato “The city is the way it is, because its citizens are who they are”. We like to think of ourselves as active citizens.

Getting lost inspite of my passion for the environment

So here I am after sort of following the Edgeryder community for many months and I will participate at #lote so I’d like to tell you a bit about what I’ve gone through the past year. There are so many threads and I’m not sure I’ll be able to unwind them all.

For once I’m going to try to write things out in public and not caring what other people may think. Although it sometimes feels like you put yourself on the line when there are search engines that makes sure you’re indexable for eternity. I guess there is a beauty to that too. Everyone can be immortal now.

my ryde so far

Before i start; I must admit the amount of awe of some of the people involved in edgeryders instill and inspire within me. I have been lucky enough to have already met some of them, and i hope to meet
