In sociocracy, when there is a problem with a team or between two teams, the guideline is to escalate it to the next higher circle. In this case this means that the outreach issue goes to the Coordination Group.
Preparing a Plan B until the end of the summer
Given the plenary’s conclusion that @reef-external will come up with a new proposal at the next plenary, I don’t think there is much to do for us on that front right now. Where I do think we have a responsibility to take up, is to make sure there is Plan B on the table, ready to consent to, in case we don’t manage to reach consent on Team External’s proposal. We are running a high stakes company, and the way I see it, it is urgent and important that we ensure that all tasks are attended to ASAP.
I personally don’t see it realistic nor helpful to call for a meeting with the entire group, so what I would like to propose is that we form a very short-lived Helping Circle. The HC’s mandate would be to prepare an easy-to-consent-to Plan B that would set out how we are going to make sure all outreach and external relations tasks are tended to until the next plenary (end of the summer). The Plan B will not take a position and it will still leave all the space in the world for Team External to present a revised proposal at the next plenary. It will just be a hands-on approach so that we can make sure our common interest is taken care of. In an ideal scenario we won’t need it, but just in case there won’t be consent, we will have something clear and easy to revert to for a short period of time.

Setting up the Helping Circle
The most logical members of the HC to me seem to be @Sterre and @GaultierDWM, because not only they were not involved in the conflict they are also part of our conflict management team, and I would say myself, because I know the outreach and external domains quite well based on past experience. Would you be up for that?

Membership to all circles in The Reef is in theory open to everybody, so this is of course also true for this one. So if anybody else feels a calling, please don’t hesitate to join in.
I personally have an idea about how we could take this forward, so if that’s fine with you I could write that down, and then we could maybe meet 45 minutes some time during a lunch break, after work or in the evening one of the next days? (that doesn’t mean we have to go with my idea of course - I’ll share it beforehand and of course all other proposals will be equally welcome)
