I am working with a social economy based housing cooperative in Galway, in the west of Ireland, providing essential housing renovations/repairs for clients with critical needs that could not otherwise afford the work, whilst also providing work for long term unemployed people that may otherwise not have the ability or skills to be able to gain employment. I would like to attend to learn more about how social economies/cooperatives work in other countries and would be grateful if you could forward and invite to my address above. Thanks, John.

Thanks for arranging the event, the CIC concept sounds very interesting. In our region, we value local products and services, and also have a small ā€œSupport Your Localā€ initiative (see for example SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ā€“ shop.petitstlouis.fi), but the loca ecosystem actions are not very orchestrated. We would like to hear more how you made it and what are your plans for the future.
