So I’m not finding time to get into this post properly to make a constructive answer to your post, Lie. And anyway I’m not sure I want to be answering here, it just doesn’t feel right to do this online
Just one thing about the core documents.
I actually had gone through them again before writing my post. Reading it again, I can see I might have overlooked some of the fineprint of how we think inclusivity can be achieved, but I still believe that my comments are very much in line with the overall values.
And as Richard says, I also do think that there are some disparities between different sections of the Blueprint, and room for interpretation which means we are not all on the same page exactly (although as you point out, I don’t think we are far off from each other).
I think we can agree that this is an important part of living together, and I think it is important that we take time to work through everybody’s concerns and feelings, and take the necessary steps so that everybody is on the same page and at ease with the matter.
How about we schedule some time during a plenary to discuss this? I know it might look secondary, but I really don’t believe it is for group dynamics and keeping the community healthy.
I would be happy to take on the agenda point if that’s ok, as I believe this could be exactly within Team Community Life remits if my suggestion for edit is validated by the group (see my post Plenary 17/06/2024 - #11 by Sarah). And otherwise I would still like to take it on as a communty member!
But if there’s objections, also happy for somebody else to take it on, as long as we are having that talk.
