I would even propose to join the climate coalition, like we joined the New European Bauhaus. Asking for advice: would this be a matter for a plenary proposal, @reef-external ? Happy to help if so.

Reef Retreat

Heads up: our preferred weekend overlaps with the next climate march in Brussels. After a summer like this, and with our government clearly not giving a damn, I would feel bad missing it. I propose we allocate a (perforce large) slot of the retreat to participating in the march. We could also spend some time making colorful and goofy placards, bring the children along etc. We could even invite other cohousings to march together! I made an addition to the agenda document. Hello @reeflings, We discussed the retreat in the Coordination Group, and one of the conclusions was that most of us are enthusiastic about the concept. There was some doubt about whether I managed to clearly convey what the purpose is of the event, which is why there was a short item on this at the plenary yesterday. I can put this in the agenda to discuss for team external. i see there are some budgetary implications. 100 euros per year to small orgs. but i think the reef fits there quite neetly indeed.

You have already started researching it. If you need help, I will be happy to help, but it looks like you can research some more, discuss in a team meeting, and then, if you like the idea, bring a proposal to the plenary.

Hello, beyond the 100 euros, @alberto basically the process for applying is to write a motivation letter of why we would like to apply and send it by email. I did not discuss this with team ext yet. but how would you see the writing process? approved at @reef-external first and then send to plenary?

Yes.

1. First you decide if this is something you want to propose.
2. If so, you bring it to plenary.
3. If plenary consents, you write the letter based on our founding documents or whatever. No need to go back to plenary, at most you can do a short online consent process, leaving people 3 days to object, consent assumed.
