As you may know we are still striving to have the group complete by 15 December. While it’s starting to look good with a few Associate Members interested in the 3BRs, we also know from experience that we can only be sure that it worked out until the membership applications come in and get consensus. This is why we are pulling a sprint for the two next presentations on 13 and 21 October. It would really be amazing if everybody could put in a little contribution to spread some flyers and posters, so that we can increase the number of participants to these presentations.
The mighty @joannes will have a look during the weekend at how the flyering strategy can brought back to life. For the presentation of the 13th that might not be in time, which is why I would like to already set a few things in motion …
1. Mapping and redistributing our stock of flyers
Can I ask everybody to bring the flyers you don’t need in the next two weeks to the Full Members meeting this Thursday and to the plenary meeting on 5 October. This way we can see whether we need to print more, and we can also redistribute the flyers to those who might need them.
2. Bringing flyers to your top spot
Many of us know this one spot where flyers tend to be picked up more. How about we all try to drop some flyers in just this one spot before next Saturday, so that we can still benefit from the Saturday shopping mass?
3. Targeting a GASAP
An optional initiative which I think could also have an impact would be to ask to one of our sibling cohousings whether they would allow us to ask the people picking up their GASAP food bag whether they would be willing to take 2-3 flyers and give them to people they know who might be interested. This is a way to set in motion word-of-mouth from a network that is familiar with cohousing. It’s a bit more time-intensive, but maybe it can be fun to somebody? Just wanted to flag that this could be a possibility.
Note that from the overview page, you can download your route to Google Maps on your phone. I hope you find this convenient.

ROUTES
Routes are now assigned to those reeflings who actually ran the routes. I encourage everyone to reach out to them and offer help.
As you know, time of the essence to make the 15 December deadline.
Quite some routes are underserved. Route 10 even has nobody assigned.
Oh, and “route runner” appears to be a predomlnantly female profession.
FEEDBACK
As you run the routes, please deliver feedback on the locations as follows, using this thread on EdgeRyders. Indicate:
route, e.g., “1.1” or “2”
sequence, e.g. “A”
date of visit (feel free to write “today” or “yesterday”)
how many folders you dropped [this is often forgotten but important, of course]
if not already indicated, whether you see a place to hang a poster and the possible size (A5, A4, A3)
Please indicate if the location does not accept folders or is closed, then I”ll remove it from the route. And if you’d like to add a location, please let me know.

Gave some flyers to families after the march today (and had some chats). I think at least one might be signing up for the presentation tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
