Yeah. What is the one adjective or the first thought? What do you think at first when you think about electronics in the car?
Yeah, electronics for me are a good way to be safer when it’s well designed. Because, for example, having a proper semi-autonomous features, it can help you to focus on other things that usually you are not seeing. And also it can what we are doing with the electric cars that we are having. It can also make you more aware about your consumption, about how do you plug your car and so on.
In your opinion, are cars that include electronic components easier or harder to adapt to circular economy practices and principles than regular cars?
I think harder, but not impossible. It’s more complex, but if it’s more complex, it’s more challenging. And if it’s more challenging, it’s more fun. So let’s do it.
What can the automotive industry do to promote circular economy?
Automotive industry? Honestly, I think we are making we are making pledge. Automotive industry. There’s a strong power for OEMs and OEMs. Okay. We are making pledge. we are nice image, but it’s mostly and we were seeing this morning in the in the conferences, most of the choices are still linked to the price. It’s really price oriented. And I think that we are come to we have come to a point where the price should not be the only driver. And that’s why for me, automotive is not doing enough and we need a strong regulation. It’s the only way to get to get there.
Last three questions. Do you have concerns about privacy and personal data stored in car electronics like GPS?
No. No. I have nothing to hide and just going, No, except if I kill someone, okay, I will be borrowed. I will be a bit worried, but it’s not my plan to kill someone. So it’s okay.
And electronics in general.
I can tell you that sometimes I had some failures and yeah, I got worried. But I wish it would be safer. I wish it would be safer. And the software point of view?
Does recycling and reusing mean different things to you? Yeah.
Reuse is almost not change what the object that you have and it just. Yeah. Repair a bit and reuse. Recycle is almost like the lower for material conservation. It’s just you take something and you process it to have a new object.
On a scale of 1 to 5, one means not at all concerned and five means extremely concerned. How concerned are you about the issue of environmental waste and pollution?
Five, six, five? Nah, because it’s I said it’s part of my value and I would like that. The Earth is just still in a good shape for my children and for my grandchildren and even. Yeah.
Uh, what, if any, actions do you take in your life to promote sustainability?
I said reusing, repairing, promoting this, that you don’t need to buy multiple instruments for cooking. For example, if you just have good arms, it’s enough. You don’t need a huge robot for each and every steps of your recipe. And yeah, trying to promote this minimalist thing, sorting the waste properly. It’s sounds obvious, but not every people are doing it. Um. Yeah. Trying to eat things from my garden, working in my garden to get things, not packaging. Yeah. Things like this. And also optimizing my travels a lot because I used to visit customers and I used to fly from yeah, from France to Spain or to other countries. And I’m really working hard to optimize these trips to make one round trip to go to see 6 to 10 customers instead of just 1 or 2. So that’s planning, but it’s working.
How much responsibility does each individual, each person have to make lifestyle and consumer choices that help protect the environment?
To be honest, I don’t think that the big change in environmental crisis and situation is linked to the single person behavior, like a low, low packaging, low waste and so on. I think it’s more, uh, the mindset and the choices as a consumer to choice not to buy from one company that is not behaving ecologically as we would like to, can be a bank can be. Yeah, I do. I did choose my bank based on the choices of found funding that they that they are promoting. Yeah I think it’s this kind of choice that. We can do as a consumer to bathe and to give money to the companies that are going in the right directions.
Last question. Do you see the circular economy as a local or national or international issue?
I think it should be international. Should be international. Of course, to implement it should be more local to avoid the transportation of the different elements of this circular economy. But yeah, it’s if we can do it globally, that would be good. Okay.
