A few more months have passed since I launched this topic.
Just to add that I have managed to visit my family once, in August, during a period where Belgium-Romania travels were constantly flagged as orange and red, which meant that if you came back to Belgium from a specific region that was orange, you could have been asked to quarantine. Alternatively, if you came back from a RED region you were obliged to do it.
This uncertainty has caused a lot of people to cancel their trips, because traveling from Europe to Romania to visit their families was putting them at the risk of not being able to resume their life upon return, not go to their workplace and so on.
And the weirdest thing was that airtravel with some airlines meant a lot higher exposure because no distancing was in place on the airplane -people would be seated one next to the other!
Did it happen to other people?
