Next public presentation – Changed from 29 April to 13 May!

I don’t think it’s realistic to expect there will be 10 people showing up, so I would consider making the decision right now of doing it online. This way Team External can give it an extra push e.g. on Facebook and let people know in time that it will be online.

For the 50 euro I wouldn’t worry too much. I would tell Victor, so he knows he can give the room to somebody else. The money I would consider as some sort of gratitude sponsoring. It sucks, but we can pretty much only blame ourselves. It’s fine.

I recommend leaving it as is. With fewer attendees, fewer Reeflings must be in attendance Also, the intimacy has some advantages. It’s not, however, my call.

I worry it’s going to be a bit awkward and also that it eats up an entire evening, but I’m fine with whatever will be decided.

I would prefer to know before tomorrow at noon if possible, I intend to programme another FB post tonight for tomorrow at around 11.30. But if it’s not possible, il just simply wait for a decision.

Ok, tough call but someone’s gotta make it. All things considered, there’s a real chance we only have 4-5 people, so let’s do an online for the evening of the 13th. If we go hard getting the word out for that in the next six days, it can still be a success :slight_smile: There’s also other presentations on the horizon (Jette, online, Miro) that the people registered can attend, so they have options.

So, what happens next:

@joannes and @reef-external - can we make the relevant changes to whatever word we currently have out there?

@MariaAM - all good to change the posts you were about to make.

@ugne - can we get a Zoom link for this one?

@mieke - I guess the details on the registration form needs to change, and perhaps the current people registered need to have a mail letting them know what their options are.

Does Ugne have a backup for this task? If not, we should consider it. I can volunteer to learn how to create zoom links, but only after the 14 May. I’ve been trying to do it now, but I don’t know if it should be done from the proton mail account, or gmail, or a personal gmail account.

I think changes in the format of presentations need to be communicated immediately. On Facebook, I’ve also noticed that some groups only accept our publication after two-three days or even more -which is good, because it creates a “cascade” effect, meaning that the post comes out progressively, but this also means that the post risks being obsolete by the time it is published if we don’t act fast.

I’ve sent Ugne a Signal message, to see if we can get the Zoom link before she gets back.

@mieke - do we strictly need it to move forward? If it’s not on the registration form yet, can we just include it in the follow up email. I think everyone else just needs to link to the registration form…

Yes, that’s true. @MariaAM you can already proceed without the link and I will add the link in the email that I will send to confirm their registration.
@ugne: once you have made the link, could you add it to the registration form (in case people register last minute and they don’t get a confirmation mail anymore)?

But when clicking on the form, it still displays the physical location. I don’t know how to edit it :grimacing:

I can edit it for you - I will do it now. (You have to login with the Google account of The Reef and then you can make the changes).

hi @ChrisM & @Lee , zoom created and added to the nextcloud calendar. Registration form updated. Samenhuizen and Habitat groupé websites also updated saying that it’s online at 19:30 (no time change).

I have updated the description of available units on Immoweb based on the latest newsletter. Will update the price slide next.
I was wondering if Google form links can be shortened. Due to character limit on Immoweb, I am not able to paste links to all upcoming presentations. I tried logging in to Google forms, but due to multi factor authentification, I couldn’t.
