All FM meetings to talk about membership are online (see also the title of the topic). The reason it got to be like this can be found in the tweaks to the membership process from January 2025, where we found that this started to take up too much time, and we needed the in-presence Full Member meeting time (every 6 weeks) to talk about how we are doing as a group.

@reef-recruitment, thinking about the next meeting, where we will likely have to go through a selection process, I was running some scenarios in my head on how to approach this. The challenge I see is that in a selection process it is difficult to proxy for the second round, because we want everybody to have heard everybody’s reasoning in the first round.
A first possible solution I thought could be a online form for the first round, so that those who can’t make it for the second round can already get access to the reasoning during the first round.
Another possible solution would be to focus more on those who have strong views (I don’t think there are many?) and to ask them to find a couple of dates that work for all of them, and only in a second stage all the other Full Members fill in their availabilities, and we choose the date that works for most people.
Just some ideas though, feel free to ignore it.

The suggestion was made to maybe do this one in person, but that might limit the number of people present…

The 24th is the BBQ on the site…

There’s also a couple of team meetings scheduled during that period, but obviously this FM meeting is the priority and those can be rescheduled :slight_smile:

the meeting will be online

The date is set to Wednesday 27/08 from 19:00 - 21:00. As Sarah mentionned, this also offers us another possibility to interact with some of the applying members during the plenary of the 25/08 hopefully.

From 22-24 September, I can only join the meeting from 20.30h because I’ll be alone with the kids that week. I’m Sterre and Guillaume’s buddy, so probably necessary that I’m there.
Is this about Sterre and Guillaume only? Or is there also a Seppe among the AM?

Mmm strange, the system was bugging I think. A few days ago I ticked some dates, tried to save my vote, but it wasn’t saved. Still the ticked dates were kept… It’s the second time this happened to me.
For the futur I will dubbelcheck that my vote has been saved! :slight_smile:
