Open days sustainable houses in Brussels and Flanders

Hi all,

Ecobouwers and its french counterpart écobatisseurs organise yearly several open days of sustainable houses.

This year it will take place 8, 9, 11, 15 and 16 November.

Once the projects/houses are known that you can visit, you will need to register as there are limited places.

If I remember well, some visits are organised in french, others in dutch and others in english

When I visited some projects, it gave me insights on

  • sustainable aspects
  • ideas of prices
  • contacts of entreprises
  • what i wanted and didn’t want for my finishings (kitchen, bathroom,…)

Should I organise a poll here to check who wants to do the a visit together and when? Or is it better to do this as an individual household as preferences might differ?

For those interested,

For the projects in Brussels: you will be able to consult them and book places, from tomorrow onwards via the site of ecobatisseurs.

For projects in Flanders: you can already consult the projects that open their doors (on the site of ecobouwers), but you can only book them from 13/10 onwards

Thanks Els, that looks really interesting. I had a look and it seems that for Brussels, the registration will open only on the 20th October on their site.

you need to register via the site of ecobouwers, if you click on the link above and scroll a bit down, you will see ‘bezoek deze woning’.

ps i’ve decided to not go to Kuurne, a bit too challenging/rushy to be there in time…
