The plenary of the 2nd of September is cancelled and is turned into an online FM meeting.
The next PM is scheduled for Tuesday 15 September at 19h30.

hi all,

online FM dinner: I think what you mean is the online FM meeting. This will happen on September 2nd, not on the 5th.

We had our R&O meeting and we have no proposal to bring.

  • the risks linked to the sosim and how to mitigate them

Both are based on presentations with slides, plus rounds. I just created two agenda items, see if it works @Sterre?

And a warm invitation to @reef-exploring @reef-associate @reef-buddies (in case the EM/AM would miss the message) and recent FMs to really try to come to this plenary meeting.

The risks will be explained that are linked to the legal structure we choose to build our cohousing (the société simple or maatschap in Dutch).

And more important how we are planning to tackle these risks.

@Sterre , in yesterday’s meeting with the sosim board we decided to add some extra topics to the agenda of 15/09 (if time). Alberto updated the agenda.

We had such an efficient and good meeting last time (25/8) that I did not see an issue on first glance. I do see we’re missing a presenter for item ‘Understanding and managing risk’.
We can see how it goes and maybe decide together to postpone the last item, as you suggested?

Apologies, that’s going to be me.

I predict less efficiency, as we deal not with clean-cut decisions but with abstractions like risk.

You might be right, but then I suggest that we already keep a margin in mind when more ‘abstract’ topics are put on the agenda. Right now we are well within the range of 19h30 - 22h.

I have put the last item (performance review) in italics for now.

Unfortunately I can’t attend the PM of 15/09. I am working. My train arrives in Bxl-central 21:30/21:40-ish, meaning 21:50 at Joannes place. Sorry and good luck!

@sterre and @alberto, I see that only 7 people can make it. I’m a bit worried that too many people will miss out?

I had the same worry. I know that Sonja/Fabian is coming, and also exploring member Fanny wants to join. That makes 9. Might be worth the effort?

We have a school event coming in last minute due to which I’m likely to have a one hour delay for the plenary (ETA: 20.30h), my apologies.

I think there’s enough people to have the meeting. At the same time I’m worried about two topics which I believe would be benefit from a larger audience:

  1. Presentation on risk: as a possible solution (but just an idea), maybe we can add this before or after an online GA, because these meetings generally have a high attendance?

  2. The evaluation of the post CdC period: given that this is an accountability exercise, I think it would be good if more people could be present (but then it doesn’t look like that will be the case on 25/09 either)
