After Monday’s/yesterday’s great news, the Helping Circle on the unit attribution would like to move forward quickly and is working on a proposal to be presented at the next plenary. As this is a cruical topic, please fill in the poll to say whether you’ll be there:
Hello again @reef-full, As there are still a few outstanding questions about the units, layouts and personal choices, moving the plenary by a few days might lead to a clearer and more appeasing outcome. So here is another poll to see how many of us could make it to an online plenary this Sunday. Please choose as many slots that you could make work as possible:
Things are a bit messy at this moment (architects who could only meet with Sophie & Manoj today for the layout of O9, the discovery of the extra m2 added to the Asterix 2 BRs, a glitch in the approach of the HC to come to a proposal about the unit attribution, no answer yet on the Idefix simplexes,…).
This makes us come to the conclusion that the PM of tomorrow comes too early, which Sophie already somehow mentionned. The PM of tomorrow is cancelled but if you feel the need to come together to exchange/discuss, by all means.
So how we see us coming out of this mess:
- Tomorrow we will send out a survey about the unit preferences, to be filled in by everyone by friday evening. Based on this we will work on a proposal that will be the basis for a discussion in the next PM.
- We hope to have this PM either Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, in person. So here a new poll to know your availabilities, please fill it in by Wednesday 25/03 21:00.
hi, from team External I’ve been talking to students at KULeuven who have an assignment to help a budding co-housing community in Brussels to take off. I felt it might be a good idea for one of them (not all three) to participate in the PM as an observer, much like the AM. Would anyone object? Here’s their introductory mail:
" We are first-year master’s students at KU Leuven, currently taking the elective course “Socio-Spatial Design Agency” taught by Aurélie De Smet. As part of this course, we are collaborating with the organization Stadsklooster, which focuses on optimizing, financing, and organizing collective housing initiatives for its community. The group is a religious community looking for an affordable place to live together, with additional space to temporarily host others in need.
Within our assignment, we are researching similar initiatives: collective housing projects for religious, social, or otherwise community-oriented groups.
We came across your website and found your initiative very interesting, and we were wondering if it would be possible to meet (either in person or online) to ask you a few questions about your experience and process.
