Plenary meeting 5 June 2025

Hello @reeflings and @reef-exploring,

First a quick poll to see who will be there. Can you please fill it in?

  • Yes I’ll be there
  • Nope not this time
0 voters

Then a quick check-in on the agenda points. I have the following points on my list:

  • Plan for the basement: @els (pending what we get from the architects)

  • Owners’ representative: @joannes can you please let us know by when you are planning to submit a proposal with a quantified budget?

  • Paths for the garden: @ChrisM same question as above.

  • Budget for sustainable insulation: @els same question as above.

  • Fixing the price and the safety margin: documents are in the agenda (same as last meeting)

I’d be grateful for a reply on whether and when you can submit your proposals, because if some topics can’t be dealt with at this plenary, I’d need to look for a plan B, and I prefer to do that in time.

I cannot tell since I’m awaiting answers from others (not Reeflings!). Certainly not for this plenary.

It turns out that contractors aren’t in a rush to respond to a vaguely defined job that may take place in 2028, and so far no-one I’ve contacted has replied to me. @Odile is now taking up the cause and making some direct calls on Tuesday. So by the end of tomorrow we should at least know if we have enough information to say something meaningful on the 5th…

hi @lee, if i get a clear answer from the architects on my question (concerning the sustainable insulation), i’ll finish the proposal tonight and i’ll ask for a review

Hello @reeflings and @reef-exploring,

Looking at the poll above, it seems like we collectively had different plans for the 5th of June.

There’s a couple of people who haven’t responded yet, but even without them it seems unlikely that we’ll make it to a respectable quorum. Therefore I would like to propose to cancel this plenary meeting, and try again on the 15th.

If someone feels a calling to meet up for a social event, don’t hesitate of course.
