I was wondering if it could be useful to start a thread/repository with different ways you can manipulate bioproduced sheet materials such as scoby's or bioplastics and the results that were achieved.
What kind of technique did you apply? What worked/didn't work? Which cool unexpected results showed up?
What is something you want to try or that anyone with access to a lot of raw sheet material could try?
Purpose: explore and inspire applications.
I'll start with this cool research about characterization of sheet materials: having it behave in a certain way or forms structures to bear loads.
If I succeed into growing and drying a sheet relatively flat, I'll throw one in our lasercutter to see what happens.
