Domenico (but everybody calls he Mimmo) is a experienced storyteller with a deeply passionate about wine and other pleasures of the table. Always looking for authentic wines, gorgeous foods and he regularly travels to learn the human stories behind the products that made real economy. Particularly interested in building business using the relations between wine and food.
Professional experience in food service management, retail shops, hospitality and event management in fairs, workshops, wine & food tasting and show-cooking; development and management of budgets with ability to manage finance, procurement and purchasing of goods; people management with leadership skills; effective team player with experienced working and customer service; marketing and communication, investor relations, events and media planning.
Spent many years all around the world, building business relations and working for the opening the foreign markets for the Italian SME enterprises. A native of Bari, he has also lived in Uk (where actually is now), Germany, Spain, Japan, Usa, Mexico, Russia, Poland, Albania, Macedonia and Estonia. Moreover, is Member of Exosphere (Chile) learning and problem-solving community, geared by Von Mises Philosophy (exosphe.re) with projects like Copernicus (space elevator), Athena (for women).
He have a passion for 3D printing and is involved with D-Shape Technologies (d-shape.com). Is Mentor in Laboratori dal Basso of A.R.T.I. (Puglia) Regional Agency of Technologies and Innovation. Member of Experts Board of Science Park Area Trieste and Certified Export Project Manager of Regione Puglia. But, it's more easy to meet him in a kitchen, in a vineyard, in a cellar, during the meals, behind a slicer or a coffee machine rather than in office. He has always hungry but it's never alone. He’s currently working like a freelance advisor for innovative projects about wine & food stores, not simply shops, but spaces where can transfer feeding knowledge directly at consumers.
