I was a hobby film-maker as a teen, so I took a bachelor in media production. Then for seven years i worked with filming, editing, programming, animating, directing and managing projects. I worked in a small company of 12 people, doing short, intensive projects. Love teamwork, and not a big fan of top-down management, so I took part-time courses in teamwork and group psychology.
A year ago I decided to change the track of my life, so I quit the job and sold my things and went to take a master degree in social sciences, focusing on Science, Technology and Society. Social innovation caught my attention, so I wrote a thesis on how social innovation appeared on the EU policy agenda. Working on that thesis led me to encounter Nadia at ouisharefest, and Alberto, Noemi and Matt on the social innovation awards in Brussels. What they had to share made me interested in learning more about the edgeryders, so here I am.
At the moment I'm a part-time student and part-time traveller, aiming to learn form theory and practice how we can change our way of life from competition to collaboration, and from exploitation to sustainability.
