Inge is a digital artist and writer published in newsrooms across the world.
As a digital artist, she focuses on mixing traditional and digital art forms. Her illustrations have appeared in international and national newsrooms across the world. amongst others, Uruguian newspaper La Daria, IPS, Canadian The Tyee, South Africa’s Mail&Guardian, The Continent and the Daily Maverick, and South Caucasus newsroom OC Media.
She worked as an impact and production editor with Coda Story where she led the design overhaul and was responsible for design execution across its editorial platforms, including its website, video, social, and newsletters. She coordinated the work of cross-functional teams that galvanized collaboration among staff with media, creative, interactive production, and business development, and played a key role in designing and publishing content.
At openDemocracy’s feminist media project 50.50 she managed production and designed and implemented a coherent visual strategy for the project. She created illustrations, reported on global feminist issues, edited features and narrative stories, and commissioned stories, artworks, photography, and videos.
Besides her career in journalism, Inge has worked with international donor organisations including UNDP, UNICEF, EWMI ACCESS, and NDI.
Inge lives with her partner, child, two rescue dogs and one walk-in cat on a mountain just outside of Tbilisi - the capital of Georgia, where she emigrated to in 2012. During lunch breaks, you can find her doing handstands all over the house and yard.
