My name is Manu, Italian electronic engineer, startup trainer and social entrepreneur based in Bucharest.
In 2009 in Brazil, I wrote my MBA Thesis on Participatory Democracy.
The interest in these topics led me to hold workshops in 11 countries where I present to curious and often incredulous crowds, the positive change that different actors are making around the world, through social business.
In 2013 I left my job at Procter & Gamble in Paris and with my wife and we launched Babele : an open innovation platform fostering the global movement for change.
The platform is now LIVE, it and provides a step-by-step business modeling methodology: a unique combination of lean startup, social impact assessment, and classical business planning. This methodology has been implemented and refined in 14 countries with over 500 social entrepreneurs using it during our workshops. In Babele, the crowd can give feedback, provide answers, post documents, share statistics and help the projects avoid wasting time, money and resources, from conception to implementation.
Babele creates value for social entrepreneurs by receiving valuable input in the early stages of business development. Allowing people actively shape the development of a business, creates a strong supporting community for entrepreneurs, even before they have a product to sell.
We believe that we can trigger a new culture based on open source collaboration.
If you believe this is needed, don't hesitate : Join the movement: www.babele.co
