I am founder and Director of Incredible Farm, a project that has "spun off" from Incredible Edible Todmorden,

Todmorden my town is in the Pennine hills in the north of England.

Incredible Edible is a community project that seeks to mobilise the whole town behind the food agenda.

Incredible farm has a Learning agenda, we grow food, inspire and teach sustainable growing.

We host school parties, train apprentices, sell food and innovate in growing methods.

And seek to develop business models for land based careeers for our apprentices.

Our latest project is to reinvent the family cow in our under used wet pastorial landscape.

And train cows to do draft work.

Kind of like self sufficiency, but not selfish.

I also have a strong interest in Romania, the people, wildlife culture and beauty of the place.

Pehaps because my ancestors were from Galitsia and Moldova and because i yearn for connection with the land Romania, particularly transilvania  speaks to me with a clear voice.

I feel freer and more comfortable in Romania than anywhere else i have been, including home.

My plan is not to move to Romania, but to make my home town more like it.

I only went there first two years ago, but have returned twice scince and spent six weeks there last summer.
