As an interaction designer I am connecting technology and people. In all my projects I am looking to apply technology to solve human needs and trying to apply technology in such a way that it's understandable and usable by people.

The past years I have built my own company together with my friend and colleague Wouter. Our aim is to give people the opportunity to be creative by giving them the tools to design their own products. I believe that opening up the creative process to a larger audience enables them to experience the joy of creating something of your owm, something that you care about and has meaning in your life.

I believe that the way we approach design, resource management and manufacturing is currently very limiting and put a strain on our environment. I believe that we can change our approach to building our environment by taking into account human values and applying natural processes. Nature has had billions of years to come up with solutions to the problems we are facing now (organization, resource management, building environments). By learning from nature and applying the solutions she has come up with we could be able to change the world for the better, to be more sustainable, more true to our heart and more effective.
