Over the last 5 years I have been focused on experimenting and spreading the open source concept to areas outside of software. I do this through videos, or workshops, artistic projects, events, or community organising.
In 2012 I lived a 'Year of Open Source' (http://yearofopensource.net) trying to abandon proprietary products and systems and instead using + producing free culture, open hardware, open education and open knowledge in every aspect of my life.
In 2013 I co-founded Open It Agency (http://openitagency.eu) to help individuals and companies to understand Open Hardware business models and community building, and since late 2014 (influenced by Edgeryders) I've been co-developing the Open Source Circular Economy Days (https://oscedays.org), kickstarting a worldwide movement pushing open source and collaboration as the best way to develop a sustainable, regenerative Circular Economy. Our first event, a 5-day hackathon in 33 different cities, took place in June 2015.
Throughout this time I've been making Free Culture videos & animation with Free Software about Open Hardware, Open Data and Open Everything, including the documentary Proof Of Concept: 100 Geeks, 5 Weeks, 1 Future (http://cameralibre.cc/poc21) and also a few videos with Edgeryders!
