The Team Community has cooked up a highly classified, super festive mission for our December Sunday Hangout (Dec 21st).

It’s getting cold out, and we realized that sometimes, the best way to celebrate is by making sure the holiday cheer finds you, wherever you are. So, we’ve cooked up a small, festive, and top secret plan to make sure everyone gets a dose of it!

We can’t tell you exactly what the activity involves—that would compromise Operation Cheer(s)! But we can reveal the critical parameters:

  • You don’t need to plan anything!
  • It requires only 20 minutes of your household’s time.
  • You just need to be available to receive the surprise (in person/by digital means) !
  • Optional : you can be recruited to be part of the mission, once you will have received your own personal “Cheer” surprise.

:christmas_tree:Following the execution of our impossible mission, we will gather for some celebratory Glühwein at a Christmas market to finish the weekend (Time & Location TBD). Pen in down in your agenda !

To make sure this Top Secret Plan works smoothly, we need to know the 20-minute time slots where we can absolutely count on your household to be available to receive the surprise that Sunday. Please fill in the poll below with all available windows. Provide slots regardless of whether you are in Brussels or available only remotely.

Greetings, Operation Cheer Agents,

The route map for tomorrow’s mission has been finalized. We are moving with tactical precision. To ensure maximum impact and zero security breaches, please note your designated “Cheer Strike” window below.

The mission commences immediately following the Plenary.

  • 12:45 | Zone: @Lee & @Alberto. Our first tactical strike of the day.
  • 13:15 | Zone: @TamaraFoubert. If you are still game to participate, make sure you are prepared to leave for the day after your 20-minutes briefing!
  • 14:00 | Zone: @GaultierDWM, followed by @Joannes. We are merging forces here! @Odile and @Liesbet have graciously agreed to rendezvous at Joannes’ location. This will allow you to evaluate the full magnitude of the mission before deciding if you wish to join the mobile unit for the remaining strikes.
  • 15:00 | Zone: @ugne, @Manuelpueyo & Ada . High-priority targets. Stand by.
  • 16:00 | Zone: @Els. The final sweep of the day.

Once the mission is complete, and if we survive, and the cheer has been successfully distributed, all agents are invited to a debriefing at the Plaisirs d’Hiver Christmas Market - 17h

For those of you outside the Brussels perimeter: do not feel obligated to answer the “secure line” if we call, but if you find yourself in a position to take it, the surprise is best experienced live! Otherwise, a recording of the deployment will be made available for later review in the archives.
