A day at Manifiesta

@ChrisM and I discovered we were both planning to attend Manifiesta in Ostende and decided to go together. Some other @reeflings might also be interested?

Manifiesta lasts two days, 12 and 13 September. We plan to attend on the Saturday for the whole day. The main goal is to wander around and discover this corner of Belgian political culture: food, games, sport, concerts (Manu Chao!), debates, movies, activities for children etc. etc. One of my favourite economists is also going to be there, always a plus.

If you want to join, let me know by the end of the week (16 Aug), I will attempt to secure free passage on the special trains for all interested Reeflings. Tickets for one adult and one day are 24 EUR.

Thank you @ChrisM and @alberto for taking the initiative, as @Fabian said, we are more than happy to float the manifiesta with as many reeflings as possible! I also want to hear Jason Hickel - and Hasan Piker :raised_fist::collision::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. We might bring friends from a co-housing in Gent (BloM, Merelbeke) as well but they do take care of their transportation. Thank you @Lee for offering your help with the shorties!

Hi everyone in this thread! It turns out that, in order to make the train reservations, you need to have the barcode of the ticket. So, please proceed to make your own reservations to both the festival and the train, the link is in the first post of the thread.

There are two trains from Brussels: from Midi at 9.43, return leaves at 21.00 from Ostende, and from Nord at 8.22, return leaves at 21.27 from Ostende. I will be on the one from Midi. We’ll make a temporary Signal chat to coordinate for the day. Looking forward!

I have installed Signal on my phone. I am however not very proficient at using that app.

Hello everybody, there is a chance that we will also join this plan (we have enjoyed a lot previous editions :blush: , it would be the first time with Edgar) We haven’t bought tickets yet or booked our spot on the train because we still need think of logistics, etc. But grateful if you can add me to the Signal group :slight_smile:
