Well done! Is it OK to link it from the landing page?
“Binnenkort op deze plek: een co-housing in eigen beheer.”
I hope this still qualifies as short.
i dont understand your question. can you reformulate?
text was sent to graphic designer
[FR]
Ici bientôt : un habitat groupé en auto-gestion.
[NL]
Binnenkort op deze plek: een co-housing in eigen beheer.
sorry for being cryptic: the text was so much longer in Dutch …
I would add a link to the landing page https://thereef.brussels called “Voisins” and later one called “Buren”. So now we have three links in the main menu, we would have five.
no problem with this! i am thinking to put the FR and NL version in the same page. for sake of simplicity. NL readers will scroll down
Hmm… for symmetry, I recommend two separate pages.
Agreed. Let’s not apply this pattern from mail messages to a website.
@alberto fine with me, then could you please create a new page for the NL version? I will add the content that is being currently translating. work in progress by @joannes
Thanks
Easy, just create a new topic under web content , (here it is. To generate a website with the webkit technology from any Edgeryders topic, just use a link composed by
https://start.edgeryders.eu/page/
+ the number at the end of the topic’s URL. IN this case, the topic’s URL is https://edgeryders.eu/t/hallo-ik-ben-the-reef/20524
, so the website is at https://start.edgeryders.eu/page/20524
Poster is ready to print. just needs validation from the @reef-external
printing the posters
The idea is to print it in A3 either using @joannes or my office printer (just make sure to avoid recto verso)
placing the posters.
place 10 posters (5 in Frenc and 5 in NL) in the wall outside the place. using wheatpasting
Let me know if looks all good,
Manuel, thank you for this proposal. I have a few suggestions:
- I would put up just one poster per language on the gate.
- To motivate people to scan the QR or type the URL, I would indicate what they will find, for example: “For information about The Reef and ways to remain informed”.
- Is there a way to make the URL much shorter?
Technical questions:
- how to protect the poster against the elements
- on what surface to stick the support
- how to attach the surface to the gate.
thank you for your suggestions. the graphic designer and print expert suggested this as a technical solution
Blockquote print the design it in A3 paper and stick it to the wall using wheatpasting . if the paper gets broken, wet or vandalized we just paste more on top
we designed the poster for this , they are under 35 cm high so it fits perfectly with the divisions on the wall
if you wish maybe you could elaborate on what is the added value of placing it in the gate? happy to hear your view on this
this is an idea i am ok with. but may be redundant. people who know what a QR code is they know how to use it and what it entails
maybe, i need to check with bitly.
links have been shortened
I would like to close the graphic design of the poster this week to close assignment with graphic designer. do we want an extra sentece for explaining the QR code as suggested by @joannes
I forgot about the walls … Indeed, much simpler.
i consider the poster is validated with the only change of the URL for a shorter ones. i will send the change request to the graphic designer and i willl post here the final version. thank you all for your contributions!
