Edgeryders is a social game aimed at building a nurturing environment where we get help, inspire one another and make sense of it all. You may wonder what the big deal with the Reputation score is. To make a long story short, you get Rep when you participate, you play Missions, you share what you do with your friends on facebook and twitter, you talk to other edgeryders and comment their posts. Everything that keeps the community healthy should give Rep.
The whole idea about Rep is to make easy for newcomers and expert Edgeryders alike to connect with people who are ready, willing and able to help and play together. This is not a competition, we’re all in this together.
WHEN DO I GET REP?
You get Rep when you participate, you play Missions, you share what you do with your friends on facebook and twitter, you talk to other edgeryders and comment their posts. Everything that keeps the community healthy should give Rep. An automatic system cannot understand all the nuances of our behaviour, so the Mentors and Moderators can assign Style points and Badges to people when they do something awesome that can not be tracked by the system. If you think that an Edgeryder has done something great for the community, tell your friendly neighbor moderator that the person should get some Rep! The rules to assign Rep are not written in stone. You don’t get Rep to win, but to make it easier to find the facilitators of the community. If you don’t think Rep works as it should, make yourself heard and change it!
HOW DO I GET GOOD REP?
Play Missions!
Missions are also ranked D to A, and give increasing Rep points. This is an indication of how much effort it will take you to get the missions done. Join a mission, post about it, get Rep.
Talk About Edgeryders!
Rule number 2 is You Talk about Edgeryders. Use edgeryders on twitter and elsewhere. Find people that would like Edgeryders and invite them to join here. Share your stories on twitter or get them out to facebook with the Like button and you get Rep. Why? because the more we are the better it gets 
Mix and Shake!
Connect to other Edgeryders, translate content, tell your stories, comment what other people are doing and help them out. Fill in your profile and update your status, make yourself easy to find to give other people the chance to connect with you. This all gives good Rep.
