Agile parallels cocreation?

Just read an article on agile. Moral of the story: if your delivery chain is broken down into silos, you can’t really be agile. You need to iterate the whole process to learn and deliver value in a lean fashion. I feel like there is a parallel - that we cannot cocreate in silos… we can work cocreatively, but cocreation needs to embody the whole delivery process. Any thoughts? Is it a farcical connection?
