As an associate member, I have to submit some very practical questions/suggestions related to the acquisition of an apartment.
Since I am mainly a candidate for a private apartment (O9 - 1 bedroom +), how can I know if there are other prospective buyers? Also, how can I ensure that it is acquired during the process before becoming a full member? In the event that this apartment is no longer available, how can I be informed if there are already applicants for other apartments (O3 and O8)? And moreover, in the event that there are several, how is it possible to know the order of priority for each candidate?
In addition, is there a reference file listing apartments with their future owners as well as their future owner candidates on the waiting list in order of priority? If so, wouldnât it be appropriate to put this file on the public drive? If not, how can I be informed about the situation of the apartments? Moreover, would it not be appropriate to create such a reference file for the management of potential future members?
âHow can I be informed if there are already applicants for other apartmentâ
Here the requested file which gives an overview of
the available units (and type of unit)
the units the different associate members are interested in.
This - off course- is not etched yet into stone, as I guess (some of) you are still exploring the financial feasibility of the different units and other things. If - what is mentionned in the file - is not correct (any more), ping @reef-recruitment so an update can be made
I hope your buddies have informed you - or maybe you read it on ER - we converted the duplex 3 bedroom in asterix into an extra studio (on the ground floor of Asterix) and an extra 2 bedroom (on the 1st floor of Asterix)
â In the event that there are several applicants for the same apartments, how is it possible to know the order of priority for each candidateâ
In team Recruitment & Onboarding, we are working on a proposal for that question. Weâll come back to you as soon as we have a consented proposal.
Thank you @Els for your answer and the link to the adhoc file.
Good work with your team to develop a proposal defining the order of priorities in case there are several candidates for the same apartment!
Beautiful evening
@els thanks again for the document you made. Iâm not sure I am managing to put together the information about the converted duplex, with the adhoc list made in reply to Christianâs question. In the list, none of the wished units (2 bedroom apartments) is in the column of available units. Does the 2 bedroom unit created by the conversion already have a code?
I donât know if I understand your question fully, but will try my best to explain better. For the 2 BR units, there are now still 2 bedrooms available:
3rd floor of Obelix (front building): O8 (this was already communicated when you joined the presentation)
1st floor of Asterix (middle building): A5 (this one is new)
=> these two units you find as available in cell G4.
=> All associate members gave at least one of the 2 BR as their wished unit (column D)
You wonât find this unit back on the plans yet, because the architects havenât updated them, but basically it is the same as the 2 bedroom on the second floor of Asterix: same size, shape, only situated on the first floor (and thus a bit cheaper).
If you want to know the price: they were communicated in todayâs presenation: here is the link to the powerpoints, p 27, p28
If itâs not clear, let me know, we can have a quick online callâŚ
Thanks and that answers my question. Plus I just looked at the sheet with a fresh head and I understand now the part on the right side is a separate table listing all available units, independent of the list of associate membersâ wishes
Hi Els,
It looks like the link no longer worksâcould you please share the latest version of the file?
Gaultier and I might need to adjust our priorities after taking a second look at the budget, this time with a 10% margin added.
Weâd like to see whoâs ahead of us and what theyâre interested in.
Thank you!
