I’ve been agonising all day about whether or not to go ahead with the BBQ on Saturday in light of the heat forecast. Would prefer not to be deciding for everyone, but a bit late in the day to decide collectively…
So we’re going to go ahead with it! It’ll be hot, but coming out the other side of the peak, which looks to be Thursday and Friday. Obviously we will need to be very thoughtful about shade and having enough water to drink. But I think we can manage both 
On that note, in the next couple of days I will be contacting everyone who has said that they are coming, to see if we can add some umbrellas to the mix, and maybe some more large water containers. Joannes and I will be driving round town collecting things on Saturday morning, so hopefully we can add some of those to the mix. I will also construct some shade with tarps and ropes ( although with better orientation, for those of you who came last year 
)

Similarly, you can take yourself off the poll if the heat is a dealbreaker for you… absolutely no judgement where personal perceptions of health and safety are concerned
