Provided that we can get to a minimal representation of the key teams, I would really like to maintain tomorrow’s meeting. My reasoning is 1) that we are going through difficult times, so a check-in and sharing of insights might really be supportive, and 2) that I would really like to move on with setting up this group and working towards the selection of Coordination Group Leader.
For the agenda, from what I can see there are quite a lot of teams that have not yet managed to have a look at the questions, so I’m not sure whether that would be the best use of our time. I personally also have a desire to make things as concrete as possible and to look at the operational things concerning the management of our group.
This is why I have set up the draft agenda as follows:
Part 1: items that need our attention right now
Part 2: agreeing on the next steps
The document is in the usual place: Nextcloud > Coordination Group: Login – Nextcloud
Can you please fill in the poll to let us know whether you will be there?
With apologies for the delay, here’s the link to the agenda: Login – Nextcloud
If by any chance you’d still be able to add 2-3 bullet points (in the document) on what your team is currently working on, that would be wonderful, otherwise we’ll make space for it during the meeting.
If you have other topics to add to the agenda, please don’t hesitate of course.
Can you please this post if you are planning to attend, or else ask someone else to attend for your team? TIA!
In our last R&O meeting, we discussed a topic that was brought up during the group coordination meeting of February when talking about the aims/domain of team R&O: ‘isn’t it up to R&O to bring every reefling (FM included) at the same level of knowledge/speed (on governance, sociocracy, nvc,…)
Feedback from the team:
possible overlap with team governance and maybe other teams?
we do agree there is a need. We don’t mind organising trainings, not giving them (we would count on team facilitation, team conflict management, team governance for that?)
we do think there should be some decent thinking about it, as just adding extra meetings/trainings to the agenda will not result in a desired show-up/outcome. Also some thinking: what topics should be brought/refreshed. R&O doesn’t see it having the capacity to do the thinking exercise (upcoming presentations,..), it might also be linked to other teams, so we suggest a helping circle to come up with a proposal. @Lee : maybe sth to discuss in the next meeting?
At our last meeting we agreed that our next meeting would be organised around the middle of May. As I indicated in the post about my break however, I indicated that I would like to get a pass for the less urgent things. This is why I wanted to check whether you’d be open to postpone this meeting to the beginning of June, which would have the additional advantage that the mighty @GaultierDWM could also join us. If it’s important for somebody that to organise the meeting mid-May, that is fine of course, we can also do that.
Can you please fill in the poll below to express your preference?
I asked for more responses in our Signal group, so this is about the best I can do to set a date. So I propose we note down the 17th, and that those who can’t make it look for a team member to represent them.
Hi Els, if you tell me how the organising of the PM’s is done (just making availability polls? Or also responsible for the agenda?) I can see what I can do.
