Event: ShareLab: social value in the collaborative economy - 1 November 2016 - London

Hello everyone, back in August we received this info on an event held by Nesta, which could be interesting for CAPS projects (see below).

Would be worth participating (for networking, fresh ideas, presenting the project). Registration is free.

As debates about the opportunities and challenges of the collaborative economy become ever more polarised, we have paid insufficient attention to how collaborative platforms can create social and environmental impact.

Now is the time to explore the collaborative economy as a catalyst for social and environmental change.

ShareLab will bring together over 200 policymakers, entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers to better understand how public services, civil society and the private sector can engage with, develop and harness collaborative platforms for good.

At this full-day event, we will be looking at areas ranging from finance to healthcare, from education and skills to knowledge and the commons, and from future technology to the role of existing mainstream collaborative platforms.

Also, Nesta seems to be a big earner within EC-funded actions similar to ours. Definitely interesting to get there and observe for future perspectives, imo.
