Once we have recharged our batteries again, I would like to call for a meeting to talk about how we can implement feedback and accountability mechanisms. We said that we were going to do it when we relaunched the Coordination Group, and then we got busy with other things. That’s fine of course, but given the situation we are in right now, I think this is really getting urgent.
In case somebody is interested: I bought a copy of the latest book by Ted Rau and Jerry Koch-Gonzalez “From Here to There” about sociocracy implentations. In section 8.3 “Cherry picking” they write about how partial implementations can lead to serious problems. Skipping feedback and review processes is the first item on the list.
