The Barn Bio Market - Auderghem, Waversesteenweg 1620, 1160 Brussel (route 11): no place for flyers any more. But you can still hang up things so would be great to have an A4 poster of the reef to hang up there

I gave about 10 flyers to parents at the European School fiesta today and I left 10 flyers just around the corner from the European school in the café - bakery “Cannelle Ceylan”, Drève Sainte-Anne 66, 1020 Bruxelles.

On the way back, I left another 10 flyers in the Marché Bio des Tanneurs (none left).

Today, I met my friend who works in the Monnaie. I gave him 15 flyers because he told me he will put some in the offices and cafés opposite the theatre as well as in the Monnaie.

@Liesbet following our conversation on sharing the flyering route, could you split the route with @joannes and let me know which bio shops i need to cover ? I prefer to have a walkable route - i don’t cycle, but i don’t mind walking for up to an hour. Thank you !

Hi @Wenwei , thanks for stepping in. I don’t have any time to do flyering in the short term.

hi, I can do a split of the Jette route over the weekend, looking for a walkable half for Wenwei. However, I cannot do the actual flyering of the other half.

@Liesbet Hello Liesbet ! I think Joannes can take over part of the route in Jette:

Let me know if it’s still too much for you, I can take care of the other half.

Wenwei, is it maybe possible for you to share route 6 together? Are you still living in that neigbourhood?

That would be great, thanks, @Wenwei .

I’m not quite sure though whether Joannes was suggesting doing half the route, or simply splitting it into two separate routes so that two different people could take them on.

@joannes Hey Joannes ! Possible for you to share the flyering route with @Liesbet ? If yes, I’ll help @Sterre .

BTW, I want to move this convo to the flyering thread, but dunno how it can be done.

That was indeed my intended meaning.

hi

i did half of route 1. None of them had flyers, so left 10 flyers at each stop:
The ones with a (*) means you could hang up a poster.

  • Le Bionheur: Av. du Panthéon 103, 1081 bxl
  • Bio Sens: Av. de Laeken 13, 1090 Jette (*)
  • Mot Passant: Av. de Jette 300 , 1090 Jette
  • The Barn Biomarkt, Rue Pierre Tiemmermans 43, 1090 Jette (*)
  • RE: Work: closed on Saturday (@Liesbet : if you would pass another day, could you drop some off)
  • Au Rayon Bio Miror (* maybe): Rue Léon Theodor 27, 1090 Jette
  • Jaune: Rue Léopold I 499 , 1090 Jette

I also dropped 10 off at the Farm Quai au Bois à Brûler 43, 1000 Bruxelles (route 2 @LuciaM )

Route 1:

20 June 2026 I dropped 2 * 10 flyers at

  • Róka ice cream
  • Frédéric Blondeel chocolate/ice cream shop

as well as 10 flyers at Muntpunt.

Hi @joannes
It has proven impossible for us to be able to find the time to drop flyers, between family, work and other Reef-related commitments in the past weeks. I feel it would provide more clarity if we just redrew from the flyer-ing team instead of committing to something for which it is more likely than not that that we will not be able to deliver. Would that be ok ?

@reeflings

I updated the routes based on the information posted on this thread before this Saturday evening.

Reef Bioshop Routes - Brussels (should work equally well on mobile as on desktop)

Some routes have not been assigned yet and we need to find a replacement for Lucia’s route.

Quite a lot of locations were added: libraries and bakeries among them. Some locations did not take flyers anymore.

I also indicated where posters could be put up, anticipating them to be designed and produced.

Route 1 was split in 1a and 1b because Liesbet cannot flyer for a while. Routes 3 and 5 do not exist anymore. I decided to split route 6 because it was too large. We may want to merge some of the smaller routes into others. TBD.

Note that from the overview page, you can download your route to Google Maps on your phone.

Please deliver feedback on locations as follows:

  • route
  • location name [not the sequence A, B, C, because these labels can change from one release to the next)
  • date of visit (feel free to write “today” or “yesterday”)
  • how many folders you dropped
  • if not already indicated, whether you see a place to hang a poster.

Please indicate if the location does not accept folders or is closed, then I”ll remove it from the route. And if you’d like to add a location, please let me know.

Thank you for all the flyering.

Feedback welcome, of course

Joannes

hello @LuciaM We should be able to find a solution for this since we are gaining new members.

hi @joannes

i am willing to go flyer on the weekend, for 1 or 2 hours, but i would appreciate it if you can tell me where (most urgent) I should go. I suppose you have a better view on it than I.

I personally would do more than just write an er post and tag reeflings. but simply contact reeflings via a signal chat and ask them. And do the same for reeflings who took up a route but from which you didn’t get any recent update.

In the recent figures of the registrations, the number of people who found us via flyering has gone down, this might not say much, but I personally think we can do better on the flyering front.
