I just wanted to save two pictures from an Airbnb that I visited, to flag that movable beds are a thing. A quick search on the internet tell me this can also be DIY’d.
I’m not saying it’s the solution for our guest room, just wanted to flag it exists.

Love it. I would totally consider that to create a guest’s bed in a corner in my apartment.

We have mentionned to the architects that it would be enough to have the space for an extra bunk bed in the guestroom. This could be an elegant solution, but I think basic bunk beds would do as well, certainly to start with, and wouldn’t require extra space compared to this solution.
But good to have that idea!
