HC PR for the Permit

Hello all,

@AlinT and I formed a Helping Circle “PR for the Permit”, but we never went through the process of formalising it. This is an attempt to set that straight, even if the Helping Circle will (hopefully) shortly be closing its books.

These are the features of the Helping Circle:

  • Mother circle: Sosim Board

  • Members: @AlinT, @Jeroen and myself

  • Coordinator: none was appointed yet; for now I have informally taken up this role (which is the most efficient, due to the link with the Board).

  • Collaboration: this is meeting-free, task-based HC. Whenever there is a task, we’ll have a look at who is best placed and/or who has space to take on the task. This also means that people who would like to take on a one-off task are welcome to do so, no need to join the HC.

  • Rationale for having a separate HC: in-depth knowledge needed of both the plans and the procedures, plus the ability to spend significant amounts of time on very short notice.

  • Tasks:

    • Contacts with the politicians

    • One-on-one contacts with the neighbours

  • Not part of the tasks:

    • Contacts with Urban and communal permitting people => @coral-board

    • Contacts with the neighbours (collectively or non-permit related): @reef-external
