As I said in a similar post at the beginning of the summer, one of our aims in the project is that all members have a good grounding and understanding in sociocracy (in particular, how it relates to decision-making and the facilitation of sociocratic meetings) and non-violent communication. If, at the very least, everyone has done the two introduction trainings, our communication can be more constructive and our meetings and decision-making processes can be more effective.
The introduction to sociocracy and facilitation course is 3 x 2 hours. We recently managed to spend a whole day just covering the first session! Rather than seeing this a critique of my time-management skills, I prefer to read it as a gift for animating a workshop above and beyond its stated aims
Anyway, what I would like to do is offer the first session as an online evening class, for those Associate and Full Members who haven’t done it yet and couldn’t make the weekend session in July. After that, we can bring the two groups together for sessions 2 and 3.
So the date I propose is 25 September, from 19h30 to 21h30.

There is a proposal to continue with the plenary meetings schedule, so this would be the date of a plenary meeting (see Plenary meeting schedule 2025: review). Is there any option that you choose another date?

The evening sessions will be from 19h30 to 21h30, morning sessions from 10h30 to 12h30 and afternoon sessions from 14h30 to 16h30. The sessions will be online unless all participants on a particular day express a preference to be in person.
@joannes and @GaultierDWM - could you indicate your availablility as soon as possible, as the priority here is to get Team Facilitation more fully stocked…
Apologies to those of you who participated in the first session but couldn’t make these dates. As mentioned above, the main priority at the moment is to get Team Facilitation more stocked. I will run this course again as an evening coures and/or a weekend day event at some point in the future…
