A quick update to let everybody know that the lawyer’s bill came in. Whereas we had budgeted a 1000 euro, the bill was 1200 euro.
Having been the main contact person I’ll take responsibility for that overspending. What I am learning from it is that it is important to communicate to the service provider whether our budget does include VAT or not (without VAT they charged us 1000 euro, which might explain the misunderstanding). I’ll try to be clearer about that next time I’m in a similar situation.
