Manifesto for digital social innovation: important workshops for CAPS projects

Dear opencare team,

Mr. Fabrizio Sestini shared the following information today (see below). I strongly suggest that opencare participates to the CAPS community workshop in Greece, as it has been evoked several times during the DSI fair in Rome this winter.

As the deadline for submitting proposals to the third (and probably final?) call of CAPS is approaching (April 25th), I wish to inform you about the MANIFESTO for DIGITAL SOCIAL INNOVATION, which has been drafted by several European innovators to raise the level of awareness about the potential opportunities and the challenges faced by social innovators. If you share this concern, please read the current text and comment it through the open online consultation at https://www.dsimanifesto.eu . You are also most welcome to invite any other relevant person or organisation to this consultation!

Also, I’m pleased to invite you to the next events in this area:

Please also note that early May 2017 is the deadline for submitting multidisciplinary papers to the next Internet Science conference http://www.internetscienceconference.eu/index.html , which will take place on 22-24 November 2017 in Thessaloniki. I think this is a unique opportunity to present innovative multidisciplinary perspectives deepening our understanding of the social impact of Internet technologies.

Yours sincerely,

The CAPS team

I wonder if anyone around here attended or can vouch for it? Is it a place where we want to be seen? Ping @Alberto @Federico_Monaco @Tino_Sanandaji and whoever knows about it.

About the CAPSSI workshop in July, I will skip it :-)
