Hello @reeflings,

You can find the full notes from the meeting Els and I had with Marc in this document which is in a new folder under TB meetings. I made a summary in english, but the rest is in quite abreviated french, hope that works, let me know if that’s not the case and there are things you don’t understand (ping me and maybe put a comment in the text). As this was our first meeting, it was quite extensive and it would have taken a long time to make it all in proper sentences…

@reef-building : I propose we use this document for our future meetings with him, if that works for you?

Hello, IT here.

Findability is harder when things are buried deep into standalone documents. So, my suggestion for good documentation is:

  • Take your extended notes however you want, like Sarah did here.
  • Make a summary, again like Sarah did here.
  • Put the summary into a forum post, with an informative title and perhaps even tags. For example: “Meeting with Mark 2025-01-15 – Preventing delays”. Tags could be of course reef-building and whatever look to turn itself into a category, for example #reef-sustainability.
  • Link the extended notes from the summary.

This way, people can easily fish out the summaries with the search in the forum, which works much better than in Nextcloud. For most of us, the summary will be enough. Those that need more information can still follow the link and access the detailed notes.

For me it’s the opposite. I find it much easier to retrieve meeting reports on Nextcloud, just in the way Sarah set it up.

@sarah I also particularly appreciate the key points. It really helped me to get the essence in as little time as possible.
