New European Bauhaus festival 2026?

There is an open call for applications to the NEB Festival 2026. Not sure if it’s worth doing, but could be something for @reef-external.

I looked at this for one of the previous editions, and I could find nothing but blah. So I would first check what would be the added value before spending a lot of time on this. Just my opinion of course.

I found this before the summer and I didn’t bring it to Team External because I thought I would fill in the form if I had the time, but not bring the news and expect someone on TExt to take over. (I saw this thread and I was very touched by the acronym :D):

This seems to be a case of Who Does The Work Calls The Shots (WDTCTS). It would not be a bad thing to do this, but neither is it anywhere near the core of what we are trying to do. So, to pursue only if someone falls in love with the idea and wants to do it.

According to the website: why apply? this is an unparalleled opportunity to *gain international exposure. Not really what we want, but it may be interesting having the possibility to have a stand of the Reef somewhere at Cinquantenaire and profit from visibility. However, I am not sure whether it is worth the effort and time. On the terms and conditions for participation: Non-commercial nature: Exhibitors are not allowed to sell products or services directly at the Festival. The focus is on showcasing ideas, projects, and initiatives that promote sustainable inclusive, and beautiful living environments.
