Not the internet and rejoin

Hi,

I was active on here a bit a while back and I thought I would get feedback on my latest idea, if people are willing.

The idea is called “Not the internet” and it is an in-person meetup to both be a non internet social-time but also talk about modern tech and our relationship with it and without it, face to face.

The idea is that there will be multiple of the meetups with people bringing the energy they want (mesh networks or offline community interest records) and things grow as they will.

Also thinking about trying to create something that aims to improve how humans improve their skills. Focused on making sure we don’t lose important skills when using AI in the first instance.

Hi eb, it’s been a while.

I am trying to make up some analogy for your idea… would it be like some kind of conference? One of the edgier ones, like Congress, for the socializing?
