R&O would like to organize an online FM meeting around mid march.

The goal would be to:

Hi @reef-full,
As as we expect to have clarity on the remaining units around mid-April , we want to be in the “starting blocks” for our next phase of growth: the mutual feedback dialogues with AM still interested in joining the Reef.

Before asking you to fill in the poll below, please let me ask you a small favor: I know our bandwidth is stretched thin, but I encourage you to seize any small opportunities to interact with our current AMs. Whether it’s a quick chat at a plenary, a “check-in” during a social, or a reply on Signal, these interactions should already provide us with “data” we need. Don’t hesitate to invite an AM for a coffee, if you have the time. It helps us form an informed opinion and helps the AMs decide if The Reef is truly their future home.

Hi @Lucia,

We already have events where the entire group is expected on the 15th, the 16th and the 20th, and possibly another plenary on the 25th in function of how the plans are going.

Planning another “all members” event in between that is a bit too much for me, especially because I don’t see why this meeting is so urgent. May I suggest you have another look at the shared calendar, and see whether you can plan it in a less period?

The reason we wanted to have this meeting rather sooner than later is for the following reasons:

  • deadline for Mathilde/Daniel to apply for FM was 17/03. Deadline for Linda to apply for FM is 16/05. None of them had a proper mutual feedback session as a lot of FM cancelled last minute for the last online FM meeting and the participation of the AM was low the last few weeks because of the ongoing unit division. As the unit division will soon be clear, R&O would like to communicate to them what is still needed for them to be able to apply for FM ship.
  • Most likely the 1 BR will be gone with the current AM’s, so we prefer not to waste R&O-time and buddy time by buddying people interested in a 1 BR.
  • The remark was made that we don’t want to have people being AM for a very long time.

Is it a possibility to have a request for feedback about the current AM via a post on ER?
