Here is a prototype with following features :

  • 1 DC motor to move the panel vertically (scavenged windscreen wiper motor) : works with about 12 V / 500 mA
  • 1 DC motor to move the panel horizontally (unknown scavenged motor) : works with about 12 V / 500 mA
  • 1 Arduino Mega 2560
  • 1 Dual-H-Bridge board : wired to the Arduino. It has two outputs used to drive both motors and works up to 24 V / 2 A
