Dear @reef-recruitment , in order to collect more accurate data, I would like to ask you to make a few changes to the response form:
the option to select multiple answers (up to 5 or so); because it is likely that people get to know the reef in various ways
delete Twitter from the options
add LinkedIn as an option
add The Reef’s website as an option
The question “If you learned about the Reef from a flyer or poster, can you tell us where you saw it?”: Can it be made mandatory in case the person ticked either flyer, poster or both?
The option “Through a friend”:
Can it be lower on the list (now many people tick this option - is it because it is the first option?)
Add the question “How did your friend learn about The Reef?”
Maybe delete the option “Through a friend on social media” since they will be able to tick multiple answers and since we add the above question.
I would really advise against making too many fields mandatory. The main purpose of this form is to register people for a presentation. Collecting data on how they found us is a nice to have, but I don’t think it should come at a cost of extra minutes answering questions that are not relevant. I don’t think it’s the image we want to give of ourselves. How about introducing these (optional) questions like “Knowing how you found us would help us to finetune our outreach activities. Would you be willing to answer the questions below?”
Changes are made, no mandatory fields in the ‘how did you get to learn about The Reef’
Another question: it’s not clear any more to me if you are going to look at the forms and distill the necessary data, or if you want R&O to continue to do it.
If it is the latter: can you tell me at what frequency you want it (during holiday period, outside holiday period)
