Outreach - survey about flyering

Hi @reeflings, this survey has two purposes:

  1. Get a view on who has what availability for flyering

  2. Collect feedback from people flyering / people who are assigned to a flyering route.

If we look at ‘How people get to know The Reef and sign up for a registration’, our top 3 is:

  1. Through a friend : 163 out of 660 registrations (25 % of the registrations)

  2. Add on Habitat & Participation : 128 out of 660 registrations (19 % of the registrations)

  3. Flyers: 115 out of 660 registrations (17,5 % of the registrations)

I think we still can improve on the flyering so it would be very much appreciated to have some extra people committing on this.

It will be motivating for the people already flyering.

It will make the efforts put in presentations be used in a more optimal way. (For the presentation at The Spiegel on September 24th, only 1 person showed up).

The faster we get this last unit sold, the faster we can invest our time in other things than outreach and recruitment.

Could you fill in this survey by October 24th 20:00, to get an idea on how much capacity we have for flyering and how we can improve things. Thanks!

Els, the answer to “can you do flyering” depends on when. Which period do you have in mind?

from now i would say till we have 3 AM interested in the left over maisonette.
but if you are on a break for a period of time, let it be known and we will take that into account.

That’s in the “taking a break” thread. In general, I don’t think it is realistic for me to do any flyering in October.

Thanks for the survey Els

hi @reeflings , @daniellobb

Thanks to those for filling in the survey. If others feel like still joining, let it be known.

@joannes , looking at what peole filled in and where people have gone flyering, i would like to propose 1 update to the flyering routes, namely: remove punt G, H, I, F, J and put it in a seperate route, route 3. Marolles ?

@ChrisM @Sarah @Odile @Wenwei @ugne @AlinT, :

Attribution of the routes, and free flyering
Free flyering: people taking flyers with them and dropping them where they go. If you are curious which shops/bars they go and put flyers, reach out to them.

It would be great if you could go doing these routes still 2 times, one time before the presentation of 10/11 (if you haven’t done the route recently) and once before the presentation of 3/12, and hopefully we’ll have our 4 AM with that.

Route Assigned to Free flyering

13. Forest - Uccle Sud Chris (skip point A and B)
15. Anderlecht Sarah (if you have time left, doesn’t look like a very successful route though) Ugne (Anderlecht)

If it’s too much, or you are sickisch or whatever: i am a backup, so let me know where i can help out.

@alberto is also a backup to help flyering (from november onwards) in the communes St Gilles, Forêt and Anderlecht

And if needed, we can try to mobilize more people.

@Sarah : you suggested to create a signal group, to go flyering together. In the table above, you see who goes flyering in which communes. Feel free to create a signal group with the people who are willing to flyer, or use the chitchatters group, it might stimulate others to join you.

Link to Joanne’s routes and request to share your flyering activities and feedback.
