I don’t mean to challenge the nascent structure of th unMonastery project… but I believe I should share my mild frustration about the call for proposal calendar. It seems to be such a missed opportunity to have the deadline fall right before LOTE#3 rather than right after. I am pretty sure fabulous ideas will emerge from experiencing the city and meeting Edgeryders & locals. Any thoughts anyone?
We’re doing applications in rounds, so to manage them in batches but also to ensure people actually apply, since people usually wait until the week before a deadline to get things in gear. There will be another round launched during lote3. And if we’re not full by the end of November, another round after that! So do not fear.
