As we’ll be away for 3 weeks from 15 August, we thought it would be nice to put on a social event before we go, and make use of our lovely garden, especially as the summer appears to have belatedly arrived. So we propose a Sunday afternoon bbq, weather permitting.
Normally I would go into details at about this point, but it seems pertinent to find out first if anyone will actually be in Brussels and available at short notice. So here is the customary poll to do exactly that:

It looks like the weather gods are playing our game, and it’s going to be some lovely weather on Sunday. Let’s aim for a sort of late lunch, so doors open at 1ish and we’ll light the bbq at 2ish.
In terms of what to bring, we’ll provide bread, salad, veggies (courgettes, aubergines, capsicums) and sauces. You can bring whatever you fancy drinking and whatever you would like to throw on the bbq (meat, fish, cheese, vegan options, etc.).
