Here a very small proposal that mainly impacts 4 households: the assignment of the parking lots.
To be ready for the moment that the notary will want to know who owns what, we still need to do this part.
The proposal is simple:
assign the parking lots following the same principle as the assignment of the units, that is in order of joining the reef.
for the assignment of the last parking spot. If the unlikely situation would occur that 2 households join and they both want a parking spot, we will toss a coin to decide who will get it.
If you have any concerns, objections, please react to this post by Monday evening 5/10 22:00, otherwise consent will be assumed
I don’t know whether Lingga and I are included in the 4 parking lots. If not and more than one household wants to have the remaining lot, tossing a coin is a possibility, otherwise these is the FIFO principle: the household that applied for it first, gets it.
hi @Eduard
Yes, you and @Linggam are indeed one of 4 households and the idea is indeed to apply the fifo principle.
Only when two households would get in at the same time, we would toss a coin. It seems very unlikely though that we will have to do it, because - as far as I know- none of the 4 em/ams interested in the maisonettes, want a parking
In light of Eduard’s comment above, would it bring more clarity if we’d write it down as follows?
For the assignment of the last parking spot, if two households would have their full membership accepted at the same time, we will toss a coin to decide who will get it.
That said, noting that we are all impatient to complete the recruitment, why would we not use a first come first serve assignment rule as Eduard suggests? I reckon it would provide an incentive to apply faster?
On second thought I am not clear why this proposal doesn’t follow our regular proposal process. In our governance document for example, section 5.2.1.3. it sets out a minimum of 5 days for online consent. May I suggest you discuss this proposal at the next R&O meeting (including my concern), and that you get back to the group with a short explanation of the reasoning behind the proposal, and with the proper 5 days to get consent?
I, nor the the rest of @reef-recruitment has a problem to adjust the proposal like you suggest, so i don’t see a need to discuss this in our next meeting.
Just a clarification: when you say: the first who applies will get the last parking spot. Do you mean apply as EM, or apply as FM?
In order for all of this to happen before December 16th we need to
deliver 'le plan de division et le rapport de quotités ’ beginning of October to the notary (the landsurveyor is finalizing this)
have our permit. On October 9th we have the commission de concertation. We expect their advise in the 2 weeks following and to receive our permit before the 16th of December.
deliver in the coming weeks/months to the notary who will be owning the different private parts. The private parts are
the units. All are assigned except for the maisonettes.
the private storage space. All are assigned except for lot C5-C6 and C37-C38, which are destined for the left-over maisonettes (if they wish)
the parking lots (P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5): not yet assigned → goal of the proposal is to consent to the way of assigning them so in a second step we can assign them.
FYI: right now 4 of the 5 parking spots are already sold to the current FMs. These are - in order of joining : Richard/Maria - Els - Joannes/Ann - Lingga/Eduard. If somebody else of the FMs wants a parking spot and you are not in the list, please react.
Proposal
The proposal is to

for the assignment of the last parking spot: if 2 households would have their full membership accepted at the same time, the date/moment of their FM application will be taken to decide who will get it.
