Hello, @reef-finance @reef-building
I am starting a post on public grants that might be interesting for the project.
First thing I saw are the one on the commune of Jette - would be interesting to ask if our project qualifies also for (some of) these grants :
Excellent idea!
might be worthwhile paying a visit as well:
Indeed, I recently talked to somebody working in that field, and she pointed me to homegrade.
She also said that for us, as we are not a renovation, the main thing that we could do is probably âpartage dâĂ©nergieâ. She said to contact this service of bruxelles Environnement to get help on that: Facilitateur Partage et CommunautĂ©s dâĂ©nergie | Citoyen - Bruxelles Environnement
There is apparently something called âtiers investisseurâ where an entity invests in the installation of the solar panels and you can still use the energy produced. I think they then resale part of that energy (or something like that). Might not be our first choice, but maybe something to consider if itâs gonna help bringing our building costs down?
I get the feeling that we need to attribute this to a team or person, otherwise nothing will happen⊠And I wonder if it might be interesting to try and clarify our options by September/octobre; we will have to make our final choices on common spaces by then, and potentially this could help freeing some budget for common spaces?? Or am I dreaming?
What do you guys think? Is it a @reef-finance or @reef-building task? Or does it need to be a helping circle between the two teams?
Personnally Iâm a bit out of my depth on this, and my personal opinion is that it is more of a team finance task. But Iâm opened to discussion!
hi, the way i understood is, that the architects will also help us with that, not filling in the file, but giving us advise on the options and possibilitiesâŠ
My feeling (but maybe that is a wrong one) is that - as we donât do a renovation- this is going to be peanuts. So therefore i wonder if this is worth the investigation at this point.
Maybe we can ask the question to the architects about the possible amount we could have and about the âtiers investisseurâ (which i wonder is interesting if we could use all the energy ourselves. If i remember well from Tivoli, the solar pannels just gave enough energy for the ascenseurs and some other stuff)
I agree it would be good to have an idea in which team this subject belongâŠ
A European grant to develop a business plan for community energy projects can be applied for:
https://energycommunitiesfacility.eu/
Perhaps up for discussion with @reef-coordination whether this is interesting and our ASBL could be eligible.
Great stuff!
Iâm not sure though whether discussing it before reading the conditions is the most efficient way forward.
May I suggest that somebody first reads whether we are eligible, and if yes, that we try to set up a helping circle to see what can be done?
Huh, is this not exactly the âenergy communityâ project that passed as a proposal on a recent plenary?
Not eligible, indeed. We would need to change the statutes etc. Like Lee says, letâs tool up and re-apply next year.
